Supportive and challenging professors encouraged their students to look to the future, which in 1990 meant seeing the potential of digital photography rather than its overwhelming expense and questionable image quality. Saying yes to challenges and opportunities and appreciating that our photography community is small, our impact to enlighten, entertain, and inform is large. Finally, welcoming all that appreciate and enjoy photography – it’s never the gear; it’s the eye, heart, and intent that matter.
